Driving Directions

Orr Hot Springs is located deep in the Mendocino hills, roughly 2.5 to 3 hours north of San Francisco and about 30 to 45 minutes west of Ukiah.

• From US-101 (Ukiah): Take the North State Street exit in Ukiah. Turn left onto Orr Springs Road. Follow Orr Springs Road west for approximately 13 miles. The road is paved but becomes very narrow, winding, and steep as it climbs over the ridge—drive carefully and watch for oncoming traffic. The resort entrance will be on your left.

• From the Mendocino Coast (Mendocino/Fort Bragg): Take Highway 1 to Little River Airport Road, or use Highway 20 from Fort Bragg to connect to the logging roads toward Comptonche. Note: Coastal routes often involve rough, unpaved logging roads. For standard vehicles, it is highly recommended to approach from the east via Ukiah.

Critical Directory Notes for Visitors

No Cell Service: Cell coverage cuts out completely about 5 miles outside of Ukiah. You must download offline maps or print physical directions before departing. Do not rely on active streaming GPS.

Arrival Protocol: Because this is a strictly managed, clothing-optional sanctuary, drop-ins are absolutely forbidden. You must have a pre-booked day-use or overnight reservation confirmation to pass the gatekeeper at check-in.
